5/5

“I received my score a few days ago and wanted to let you know that I got 91%. I credit your materials…for making this possible.

Though I found all your material helpful, the Picture Perfect workbook [Guide to Decoding Lactation Photos] was tremendous. I feel that working through that alongside The Atlas really helped me extract so much more knowledge than I would have gotten just studying The Atlas alone. I began reaping the benefits even before the exam, as I worked with moms.

Thank you all, again, for the amazing support and quality exam prep materials.”

What Makes This Course So Unique ?

FAQs

Of course! Click here to see the course goals, objectives, and other important course information.

It’s both! If you purchase the full course you can use it as a study tool for the photo portion of the IBCLC exam AND use it to earn CERPs. It is important to note, however, that you do not need to purchase the full course. Marie Biancuzzo’s Guide to Decoding Lactation Photos Workbook (2nd ed.) and The Breastfeeding Atlas (7th ed.) can be used together as an exam study tool.

If you would like to earn CERPs and/or contact hours, you may do so. We have a suggested (not required) approach. You may certainly use it before the exam. But to get a little more mileage out of it, you could use it only to study, and LATER purchase the post-tests a la carte when you have passed your exam and you’re ready to earn your continuing education credits. (Having “extra” hours before you take the exam doesn’t do you any good. You’d be better off using the hours after the exam so they count towards your recertification.)

The Guide to Decoding Lactation Photos Course offers 20.4 L-CERPs in the clinical skills discipline. This will be noted on your certificate.

Yes! We have several lactation exam review packages, topical discipline drill questions, and practice exams. The Online Lactation Exam Review Master Package contains Marie Biancuzzo’s Guide to Decoding Lactation Photos Workbook (2nd ed.) and The Breastfeeding Atlas (7th ed.).

You can find several other exam study tools and packages, including practice exams, in our Store.

Yes. Upon completion of the post-test and workbook activities, you will earn 20.4 contact hours and 20.4 L-CERPs in the clinical skills discipline.

Sales for all online programs are final. Please carefully review the information provided before you purchase and feel free to call us at 703-787-9894 or email us at info@mariebiancuzzo.com to ask specific questions so you can be sure the course is right for you. After your purchase we are here to help with any questions or problems you have while completing your course. You are never alone.

Probably not. Marie Biancuzzo’s Guide to Decoding Lactation Photos Workbook (2nd ed.) has no photos at all. It is designed to be used with The Breastfeeding Atlas (7th ed.). This workbook references nearly all of the photos in The Breastfeeding Atlas (7th ed.). You must have both resources in order to get value out of the Workbook. A word of warning, older editions of The Breastfeeding Atlas will not work with the Workbook.

However, if you already own The Breastfeeding Atlas (7th ed.), you can purchase the Workbook alone. If you need to earn CERPs, you can purchase just the post-test questions separately, but again, you must own the 7th edition of The Breastfeeding Atlas

No problem. If you already own The Breastfeeding Atlas (7th ed.), you can just purchase the Workbook and the post-tests (if you desire) a la carte.

Unfortunately, no. Marie Biancuzzo’s Guide to Decoding Lactation Photos (2nd ed.) was designed specifically for the 7th edition of The Breastfeeding Atlas. It makes reference to photos, figures, chapters, and pages numbers that will not be accurate if you have an older version of The Breastfeeding Atlas.

You will have access to the course for 12 months from the date of purchase. You must complete all work during this time and successfully pass the post-tests to earn credits for the course. For example, if you purchase the course on June 1, 2023, the course will expire on May 31, 2024.
